Oxford canal, extract from accounts showing income from shares and miscellaneous.

This extract is from the accounts of the Oxford Canal, 1791. It shows how much money has been collected by several treasurers from shareholders. Shareholders did not pay for their shares all at once but in "calls". These were installments as and when the company needed the money. They had a little other income too. A transcript of these accounts is available.
