We are open Tuesdays to Sundays Times 1000 to 1630, last entry 1600. We are closed on Mondays, except that we are open on bank holiday Mondays.
Pre-booking
We don't offer pre-booking, other than for boat trips and some special events. Please pay when you arrive

The museum will be open late until 2000 on all five Tuesdays in December, when short boat trips will be running to see the seasonal lights of King's Cross.
Children
Children under the age of 14 are welcome but may only visit in the company of an adult or in supervised groups.
We accept major credit cards. Contactless payment available up to £100.

Concessions are available to unwaged persons, and to students, with ID. Concessions are available to Senior Citizens aged 65 and over. Please bring evidence of entitlement.
Child rate is for children aged 7 - 15
Children aged 6 and younger are free.
A Family means 1 adult and up to 4 children, or 2 adults and up to 3 children.
Members of the Canal Museum Trust and the Museums Association: £3.75
One carer for a registered disabled visitor will be offered free entry
Reduced charges are available to groups of 10 or more.
