What's included?
- A boat ride on a canal boat "Long Tom" (sometimes a different boat) that will take you from the museum to St. Pancras Lock and back again. Children will receive a wildlife spotter's bag on the boat to inspire them to look closely for wildlife and to help them identify what they may see. Boat trips must be booked in advance online.
- Entry to the museum to complete our fun and interactive family trail around the exhibitions, including our brand new ice cream role play parlour! Who will earn their sticker for completing the trail?
- A craft workshop led by our museum facilitators on varied themes.
Boat trips will take approximately half an hour. Every passenger needs a ticket including babies. We cannot carry additional people without tickets. Please book your tickets on this page. The boat has a toilet but please use the facilities in the museum if possible.

- May 29th. Collage and Create. Jump on board for a creative adventure! Join us to design your dream canal boat with collage magic. What fantastical features does your canal boat have inside and out? Perhaps your canal boat could be a home to some of the wildlife that lives on the canal. Soak up inspiration from the boat trip and come back to the museum ready to collage and create.
- August 7th Fish craft activities Join us for a fantastic fishy adventure during our Summer holiday programme. Can you see any fish in the canal? Or are they hiding deep in the water? After your boat trip along The Regent's Canal, come and take part in fun craft activities all themed around fish!

- October 30th Make nature Crowns. In this hands-on workshop, families will embark on a creative journey to craft their very own nature crowns inspired by canal wildlife to take home and wear. Look out for wildlife that could inspire your crowns on your boat trip along the canal - what colours, textures and creatures will you spot?
