Venue Hire
London Canal Museum is open to the public six days per week. Private hire takes place either in our small conference toom or in the main galleries of the museum when it is closed to the public.
These can only be accepted on Fridays, Saturdays, or the evening before a public holiday. The latest finish is 2300, midnight, or 0100 but we accept only a limited number of late night events. Availability depends on how many other boookings we have in the diary. Please see our Availability information page (pop-up window) for the up-to-date position. Access to the galleries is from 1630.
These can take place on any day from 1630 onwards, or earlier on Mondays. The latest finishing time is 2300. (If ending later, prices and conditions for a music event will apply). A DJ is not permitted at this type of event.
These are accepted on Mondays only. We can cater for any times.
Our small conference room is available on any day of the week. The capacity is 12 people boardroom style, 14 people with chairs in a circle, 20 people theatre style. Any time, daytime or evening, up to 2300.
On Mondays these can take place at time of the morning. On other days they must finish by 1000. Early starts are possible, and access for preparations the evening before may be possible.
