Venue Hire

If your event does not include loud music do not read this page. Please see the availability guide instead. Please read this page if you are planning an event with a disco or other loud music. Any event with music loud enough for dancing, a concert or cabaret performance, or amplified singing will normally be classed as a music event.

The London Canal Museum is available as follows:

Evening events with disco or live music for dancing can take place on Fridays, Saturdays, or when the following day is a public holiday. The finishing times on offer are given and the current availability of dates. These may change at any time as other clients make bookings.

On Mondays you can book a daytime party with music so long as it ends by 1830. Please contact us to check availability.

There are many dates available on which you can book an event (ending 2300 or earlier) without loud music. Some options are

• A silent disco
• A reception followed by a meal in the museum, go on elsewhere for dancing
• A wedding ceremony followed by a reception, then elsewhere for the rest of the evening

• Q: My date is not shown as available. Is that correct?A: Yes, that is right, you can only book a date that is listed, for a music event..
• Q: Why are there no dates available to 0100?A: We no longer offer a later finish than 2300.
• Q: How up-to-date is this table?A:It is almost always updated within 24 hours of a customer making a booking, and usually more quickly that that.
• Q: Do you ever get a cancellation? A: Yes, we do, but not very often. The table will be updated if this happens.
